Frequency - Opening Night
26/02/05 - Orange Peel
What a Night yet again!!! Frequency's opening night and it was a stormer, everyone was avin it and the tunes were slammin,
what more do you need!!!
With a combination of the OPM, CPM and Compressed crew we brought to you a new night in the peel which should never be
missed. the night started with Mucky Beats (Compressed) with a nice set which crossed over the Techno, Hardhouse, Hardstyle
boundries for a fresh sound and a clever mix of tunes. Next up the man - DJ Dolphin. Playing a seriously hard set of hard
trance \ hardstyle but still in keeping with that Deathchant bassline sound - hard n dirty just the way we like it!!! All
in all a hell of a set from dolphin!!!
Next up Dexter with the usual dexter hardstyle sound. This guy is a scratch master, plenty of phat baselines and hardstyle
riffs with some awesome scratching for good measure.
Next up was Rascal, a classic hard trance set from this guy from Species along the lines of the old 94-97 Mark E.G.
classics. Awsome mixing and his scratching is unbeleivable - wicked set.
Next up was me - All night spent wondering what to play, the crowd was havin th hardstyle like never before so I was
thinking of continueing with a hardstyle set, but then I thought F*&K it and slammed out the set you can hear on the first
page and the music section - judge for yourself.
Finally, the man himself, Mr Frequency - DJ Mat Manfridi. This guy really knows how to slam a hardstyle set together,
effortless mixing with pounding basslines and awsome riffs made this set a wicked end to the night.
Overall a wicked night, not sure on numbers of attendance but they could have been a lot more - where is the support
for the North Wales Underground gone???
I remember the nights of the Dosse Posse in the peel, rammed wall to wall with people - lets get back to havin some of
that - lets see you at the next events!!!!

COMPRESSED - 21/05/2005
Orange Peel - Mark E.G.
Another awesome night by the compressed boys. The peel was pretty rammed and everyone in there was pretty much avin it!!!
I made it through to the finals of the DJ comp (just) so that now means 2 Frequency Residents are in the final - Me n Dexster,
im pretty sure we will rock the final!!! Anyway on with the rest of the night, completely lost track of who was on when and
so cant really give much info on the individual sets, recognised Mackie and Wayne AKA Mucky beats and Distek on the decks
and they played a wicked set, like the Joey Beltram - Energy Flash Mackie, dropin the oldskool in - respect :-). Anyway wicked
set by those guys. Backroom was pretty avin it as well, didnt get to see much in there but on my visits it seemed to be pretty
rockin and I heard the hardstyle set at the end by the Hardlife boys was pretty shit hot!!! Of course Mark EG and Aaron Liberator
rocked the night, when Mark EG turned up he had the floor rammed within a few minutes of kickin of his set, fair play he rocked
the night!!!! Next up Aaron Liberator and Mark EG B2B, I was starting to fade by this time so I was sitting down for most
of it but again the place was rockin, last up was Aaron for an hour on his own, unfortunately I missed this as I was in the
backroom listening to the Hardlife boys finish up with a rockin Hardstyle set. Overall an awesome night, shout going out to
mackie, things are going strong mate and look to get better - well done!!!!
